I have just recently purchased the Logitech Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard K860 because I hope that it will the solve problem which is the pain I have been having on my wrist every time I type. It has been there since 2016 because my work involved lots of typing. Plus, I’m a content creator. So, I don’t give rest to my fingers and wrist.
I type at about 100 words per minute, which means it requires fast movement of my fingers. I was pretty sure that my pain was caused by keyboard that is not ergonomic.
As I was looking for the best ergonomic keyboard, I discovered the Logitech Wireless Ergo Keyboard K860. After reading some great reviews about it, I decided to purchase it despite the expensive price tag (USD125). I live in Malaysia, so with shipping I spent about RM700 for this keyboard.
I don’t mind spending on a keyboard because the price is nothing compared to the surgery expenses that may require if I don’t take care of my wrist now.
Logitech Wireless Ergonomic Keyboard K860 Review
My first impression was it looks pretty solid. It is weird in shape and has a split keyboard with well-spaced keys. The keyboard comes with an attached wristpad which is comfortable when typing.

My favourite part is that this is a full keyboard with a numeric keypad. I deal a lot with numbers, so having a full keyboard is very important to me.
The Logitech ergo K860 wireless keyboard comes with a connector to connect manually and it also has the ability to connect via bluetooth to three different devices. I am using a Mac Mini and am using the connector to connect my keyboard. I heard that some Mac M1 users have problems with the bluetooth connectivity, therefore I decided to just use the connector permanently to avoid this issue.
You can have the keyboard at 2 different angle with the two clip at the bottom of the keyboard. It is useful for those who have a stand desk station. Personally, I don’t use them at all because I didn’t have the need to do it.

The keyboard has a couple of shortcut that works well with the MAC devices and transitioning between a MAC device and Windows can be done with a touch of a button. It is definitely useful for me because I use Windows Laptop for my work and Mac Mini for my blogging and Youtube videos. Since, I am working from home now, I am able to use the keyboard for both my work and personal use.
My Personal Experience
When I first started using it, I made lots of typing errors because I couldn’t gauge the distance between the keys. However, I am pass that now and I can type well without errors.
At the beginning, I still had some sore arms when typing. I thought the wireless ergonomic keyboard was not doing what it supposed to do. But after a few days, I realised that I don’t have the pain anymore. In fact, it has been more than 4 months, I have been using this keyboard and I don’t have any pain. It is gone completely.
If you are on the lookout for an ergonomic keyboard, I highly recommend this for those who types fast and suffering from wrist pain.
